Paid To Click

Paid To Click programs are programs that will pay you to click a link or advertisement that is shown on their site after you log in. They each have different pay rates and minimum payment quotas so it is important to do your research on each company and weigh the profit potential. Although you may only receive a few cents per click they can quickly add up and participating in multiple programs can speed this up. Paid To Click programs do not require you to have a website and have no connection with websites.

Paid To Click Program Descriptions

Google Adsense

Virtually every webmaster on the Internet is familiar with Google's Adsense program. They have become the primary contextual advertisement network around. Even the ads above this section are Adsense ads. They have a $100 (US) threshhold for payment, but that is very attainable if your website has steady traffic.

ValueClick

ValueClick has quickly become one of the best performing networks. They pay on both a pay per click and pay per impression basis and give their members get back 65% of their total revenue! Their payments, via check or Paypal, are always prompt and accurate. They offer 468x60 banners, 120x600 skyscrapers, InVue ads, or pop-unders, which ensure that you can customize your programs to best fit your site. In addition, you get to choose exactly which campaigns are put into rotation. They have one of the most complete and easy to use stat reporting systems-complete with graphs! The only negative thing is the $50 minimum payment, which is a bit high. Other than that this is a great network that we highly recommend.

Affiliate Fuel

Affiliate Fuel is one of the smaller and most underestimated affiliate networks out there. Currently they offer around 130-150 different offers to choose from, most of which are highly converting and require no credit card. The majority of their offers are on either a cost per sale or cost per lead basis while they do offer some offers on a cost per click basis. While they have a rather limited number of available programs compared to some of the larger networks out there, the programs they do have tend to apply to a broad spectrum of internet users as well as tend to have high quality creatives including, banners, text e-mails, and html e-mails. Most of the programs in the network do not require further approval by affiliate program but, a select few do. Their site’s user interface is a bit odd with every section being named with some sort of automobile analogy but, once you figure out exactly what each section is it is highly intuitive and easy to surf around.

PrimaryAds

PrimaryAds is a relatively new affiliate network that shows a strong potential to be a great source of income for your site. They are a medium sized network, offering 69 different programs (at the time of this publication). One of PrimaryAds’s strengths is their commitment to supporting their affiliates. When you sign up to use the network, they assign you an ‘Affiliate Manager’, who can offer advice on which programs best match your site’s audience and which ones will convert the best for you. In addition, their customer service staff is very accessible, happy to help you and take your feedback and suggestions.

Shareasale.com

Shareasale.com is a medium sized affiliate network offering a plethora of individual programs that you can join. When you first sign up you are only authorized to size up for pay per lead and pay per sale programs. However, they do offer pay per click offers if you sign up for them separately. In addition you must apply for each program within the network prior to adding their ads. They feature all the standard statistics and allow you to download your account history in CSV form. They offer payment through either Paypal or check on a monthly basis.

Clickxchange

Clickxchange is a relatively large affiliate network (around 250 programs) that offer programs on a pay per sale/lead, pay per impression, and pay per click basis. The setup of the site is a little tough to navigate but easy enough once you get the hang of it. The programs they offer tend to be from smaller scale companies although they do handle a few larger accounts. Their reporting system is pretty standard with no real bells and whistles...the plus to this being that it is easy to generate reports.

LeadHound

Excellent affiliate network currently featuring 100+ offers that you can sign up to advertise. Most of the programs are for e-commerce sites, giving you a certain amount for each lead or sale you send them. The site offers all of the standard statistics through an attractive interface. You must apply and be approved for each individual offer prior to advertising it (I've been approved 99% of the time). They pay every month and are very good with tracking stats and sending payments. The only negative thing I have really experienced is that the $50 minimum payout is a little high. If you are eager to get some programs running on your site quickly and easily, this could be the right match for you!
